Media Representation

 About US:
Our names are Joshua Ryan and Julian Aurelius W. and we are students of Binus International School Serpong, grade 10, and we would like to create the blog for our school task to show the media representation in Sociology.
Our purpose is to show how the media has effect us throughout our life in many different ways and this topic is going to be one of the medias that is going to be discussed and to change your perspective about these thoughts, along side to prove that the situations we are going to discuss will not be judge wrong or incorrect.

 Introduction:
Media has been very diverse for the past century from being an all time favorite to a more diverse option such as different categories of its content. We now see most people under age of 10 and above more will likely have their leisure interacting with media. Many researchers has also concluded some facts regarding the situations that most viewers are likely to experience in their life to interact with media. Every media has ways to stereotype or sometimes give message about things that are not always true. The topic of the representation that we will discuss will be on:
  1. Representation of Race
  2. Representation of Teenagers
The reason why we pick these topics is because that this media has one of the most occurred situations in our 21st century and are likely to to appear about race and teens. We chose race because situations in games are currently involved between the race in the world and is known to represent it quite a lot and we would like to discuss this even more. Also teens because we know currently see teens are being represented in these media as well which we will discuss this further.

Representation Of Teenagers in Media Teenagers, also known as young adults, are very particularly very unique in terms of the narrative. Most comes to the part that they are usually are either spoiled brats or useful. We are going to talk more of its representation in a negative way. Teenagers in most medias are rendered to be useless in most of its narrative. Representation of Race In most media to date, Most issues comes to the fact regarding our Race type in Earth and sometimes these media gives out messages regarding these and might give true or false information about it and to be honest, some medias had its representation today. Let us look at it's current situation. Games and movies has been involved with this type of representation lately and with different types scenarios around it as most representation of it are mostly stereotype the races that are non-white.
